All our soaps are certified
All of our recipes have been checked and certified by a chemist, so comply with all the EU & UK legislation and regulations.
Ethically made and free from "nasties"
All the ingredients we use have been sourced ethically and from reputable sources. We do not use Palm oil or animal fats and the micas we use for colourants have not been mined by children. Making our soaps Natural, Vegan and Ethical as well as luxurious.

Although my recipes have been tested and certified that they are safe to use, they have not undergone rigorous tests to prove that they can do wonderful things to your skin. So legally I am not allowed to tell you they can. It is a wash off product, so legally all I can tell you is that it will clean you.

Our soaps are made using the Cold Process Method.
We make our soaps using the cold process method, which means we only use heat to gently melt the hard oils and butters and then everything is mixed together cold. It's then wrapped up in a towel (or heat blanket if its a bit chilly) and left to saponify for 24 hours, then it is cut into bars and left on racks to cure for 6 weeks. Making a lovely hard bar which is ready to use.

Base Ingredients
BASE INGREDIENTS
All our soaps contain, what's called base ingredients - these are all the oils, butters and water, so lets look at those first.
Oils, Butters, Water and other ingredients.
The following ingredients have been researched to show the following qualities individually, so I have combined them in this soap to make a beautiful soap. (nb. these qualities have been taken from a google search, I make no claim that my soap can do all these things, but I hope they can help).
Olive Oil: Makes a hard long lasting soap, with gentle cleansing lather. High in Oleic acid. Helps to condition and soften the skin.
Coconut Oil: It creates a protective moisturising shield on the skin. Is full of antioxidants. Composed of healthy saturated fats and vitamins like vitamin E, amino acids, lauric acid and caprylic acid. Builds lather.
Shea Butter: It's safe for all skin types. Moisturising, anti - inflammatory, anti oxidant, anti fungal. May help prevent acne. Collagen production is boosted, helps promote cell regeneration.
Cocoa Butter: Contains a blend of healthy fatty acids and anti oxidants, Reduces skin inflammation such as psoriasis, eczema, rashes and other body inflammations. Adds firmness to soap. Non greasy and highly absorbant on the skin. Diminishes scars and stretch marks. Anti ageing benefits.
Castor Oil: Contains high level of ricinoleic acid offering excelllent skin soothing benefits. Creates a protective skin barrier. Increases lather, making a creamier soap.
Sodium Lactate: Made from natural fermentation of sugar found in beets, corn and other plant based sugars. Excellent humectant - amazing moisturising properties due to its high water holding capacity. Hydrates & revitalises dry and brittle skin, maintains a healthy pH level. Preservative enhancer - inhibits bacteria growth. Makes a harder bar and speeds up the drying/curing process.
Water: Water is used to dissolve the sodium hydroxide lye so it can interact with the soaping oils to begin the saponification process. As the soap cures, some of the water evaporates and makes a harder, longer-lasting bar of soap and the lye is no longer present in the finished bar of soap.

Ingredients: Olive Oil (Sodium Olivate), Coconut Oil (Sodium Cocoate), Cocoa Butter (Sodium Cocoa Butterate), Shea Butter (Sodium Shea Butterate) Castor Oil (Sodium Castorate) Water (Aqua), Glycerine (naturally occurring), Sodium Lactate, French Purple Clay, Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia) *Citral, *Eugenol, *Geraniol, *Citronellol, *Limonene, *Linalool *naturally occurring essential oils. French Purple Clay: Removes impurities, oiliness and dead cells from skin. Detoxifying effect. Antioxidant. Anti- ageing, high in magnesium. Helps prevent your skin from absorbing environmental contaminants and impurities.
Colourant - Titanium Dioxide: Ability to scatter light & UV resistance. Inorganic compound, non-toxic, non-reactive, naturally occurring mineral mined from the earth. Used to whiten soaps.
Colourant - Lilac mica: Mica powder is made from a shimmering mineral called muscovite. It may be enhanced with pigments and oxides to create dazzling colours and enhance the colour and vibrancy of the natural stone. Natural, Vegan, cruelty free & ethically sourced, not tested on animals and do not come from mines where children are workers. Does not contain animal products, are 100% cosmetic grade.

Patchouli Essential Oil: Relieves stress, calming, libido enhancing, combats body odhurs. Moisturises dry chapped skin.
Ylang Ylang Essential Oil: Balancing & regulating oil - prevents excessive dryness and oiliness. Soothes inflammation, strengthens skin & hair. Regulates oil production.
French Pink Clay: Moisturises, softens, hydrates. Non irritable. Hair conditioner, Cleanse and detoxify the skin, removes dead skin cells. Creates an overall refreshed appearance. Can treat acne and other skin ailments, poor blood and or lymph circulation and sun damage.
Colourant - Titanium Dioxide: Ability to scatter light & UV resistance. Inorganic compound, non-toxic, non-reactive, naturally occurring mineral mined from the earth. Used to whiten soaps.

Lemongrass Essential Oil: Digestive problems and high blood pressure, relieves stress, anxiety, depression. Uplifting and stimulating.
Eucalyptus Essential Oil: Supports relaxation. Relieve nasal and chest congestion. Encourages mental clarity and provides energy. Moisturising, helps relieve eczema and acne.
Kaolin Clay: Great for those with dry skin or sensitive skin. Helps remove oil without drying the skin out too much. Skin cleanser, helps absorb impurities such as dirt, bacteria and toxins from your pores and leaves skin feeling soft. Prevents acne. Mildest and most gentle clay.

Poppy Seeds - Naturally cleansing without over stripping skin of natural oils. Gives a slightly rough exfoliation that reduces in-grown hairs before shaving. High in antioxidants like vitamin E and A that provides key moisture and anti ageing boost to the skin.
